I LOVE toddlers! They are so much fun to photograph because their true personality just shines through no matter what. It’s always so much fun to chase around a one year old trying to capture every pout, smile, funny face, inquisitive look. This little beauty did not disappoint. She was so full of life and smiles and cute hair accessories!! I love the giant flower in the second photo!!

Trash the Dress | New York City Modern Photography

I had the awesome opportunity to have a “Trash the Dress” session in Phoenix before I moved. My friend wanted to do something fun with an old wedding dress and I jumped all over the chance to take some awesome photos. We ventured out towards Saguaro Lake in Mesa and found this pretty secluded area that had what looked like a forest but was really overgrown weeds and small river with some sand and rocks. She brought the paint and we had an amazing time trashing that dress.

Dress completely and thoroughly trashed! And FYI – apparently wedding gowns are incredibly heavy when wet.

Engagement Session @ Old Town Scottsdale | New York City Wedding Photographer

Old Town Scottsdale in Arizona is so much more than the civic center and LOVE statue; it has charm and a vintage feel that is hard to escape. This bride-to-be came to after she saw this engagement session I did here. She loved the location and the creative shots. When we met up for our session she had her pinterest account ready and loaded with all the images she loved and would have loved to have for herself. I didn’t want to just mimic a bunch of shots so we took our own spin on them and I have to say I love the results and I’m thrilled to say they did as well!

Engagement Session @ Japanese Friendship Garden | New York City Wedding Photographer

Have you ever been to the Japanese Friendship Garden? No?! Well, get there…NOW! This place is beautiful. Words can’t describe how gorgeous it is. While we were there they had some kind of event going on, they were dancing, doing yoga, banging on drums, and we could barely tell. The atmosphere is so incredibly serene.
